She has an MA in European history with a focus on Germany.

Tina Beaird is the owner of Tamarack Genealogy and is a Genealogy & Local History librarian at the Plainfield Public Library in Plainfield, IL. She holds a Masters of Library and Information Science degree with a specialization in Archives/Preservation from Dominican University. Tina has won multiple research and digitization grants to preserve and digitize historic documents and photographs.

Tri-City Genealogical Society General Meeting November 10
Tri-City Genealogical Society’s annual business meeting will be held via Zoom on November 10, 2021 at 7 p.m. On the agenda is approval of the proposed budget for 2022 and election of a slate of officers. After the completion of the business portion of the meeting we will be streaming the video Investigative Genetic Genealogy – the Use of DNA for Law Enforcement as presented by Diahan Southard. Diahan was the featured speaker at a TCGS seminar several years ago.
