Since this is also the time of SGS’s annual appeal letter, we thought it fitting to remind seniors with IRAs of the tax benefit to be had from donating to SGS via a Qualified Charitable Distribution from an Individual Retirement Account. REVISED NOTICE ON ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE AT THE GOOD SHEPHERD CENTER Maintenance work still has not begun on the elevator at the Good Shephard Center. Latest word from GSC management is that the work, hopefully, will begin the week of December 19th and SGS should expect the elevator will not be available for use through most, if not all, of January 2023. If you plan to visit the SGS library during that period and need the elevator, please call our front desk (206 522-8658) before you come to check on the elevator’s status.
