Please join us for Tri-City Genealogical Society’s General meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11th TCGS will be celebrating Veterans Day with a special Show, Tell & Teach presentation focused on the military members in our family trees.
Do you have a military ancestor, parent, grandparent, or other family member whose story you’ve researched? We want to hear about them! Whether you’ve found a military service record, draft card, pension file, photograph, discharge papers, newspaper article, medal, letter, or another interesting document, we’d love for you to share what you discovered.
Please take a few minutes to fill out our Google Form with the name and basic military information for your family member, such as their branch of service, rank, war or conflict, and any other details you know. The presentation will focus especially on the records and documents you’ve found and the clues they provided about your family member’s military service.
You don’t need to be an expert or have a complete story—sharing one interesting record or discovery is enough! Come show us what you’ve found and, if you’d like, teach us something you learned along the way.
Please complete the Google Form so we can include your family member in the presentation.
