1:00 pm
SVGS Library
6111 188 PL NE, Arlington, WA
Join us at the SVGS Library for a live presentation “Americans: What We Have to Celebrate!” Everyone is welcome to attend this free presentation.
We welcome Vern Fryholm, who will be portraying His Excellency George Washington, who is “First in war, first in peace and first in the hearts of his countrymen.”
Vern’s Bio:
Vern began portraying George Washington in February 2012 and has given over 600 portrayals to more than 25,000 people. He has talked to students at public, private and home schools; service clubs; libraries; business and church groups; and regional and national conferences. He appeared at the George Washington Inn in Sequim, WA for both the Lavender Festival in July for 10 years and the Northwest Colonial in August for 7 years. The Covid crisis forced us all to adapt, and George Washington responded by both zooming into classrooms, meetings, and homes and developing educational videos online. George Washington Speaks has over 200 educational videos on its website, georgewashingtonspeaks.com and YouTube channel. Vern has produced additional videos for the 250th celebration of the Declaration of Independence this year.
There will be a short break with refreshments.
The monthly meeting will follow.
