The program will be provided by Camp Commander,  Hank Cramer III on the Battle of Chickamauga (Sept of 1863).  This is not among the best-remembered of Civil War battles, but it was one of the largest (about 65,000 combatants on each side). It was also one of the bloodiest with about 30% causalities on both sides. It triggered a series of events which elevated Ulysses Grant to overall command of the Union Army and placed William T. Sherman in charge of the campaign for the Deep South.
